Day 1: Beginning of 3-day Mekong Delta Tour – Panorama River Cruise

Your 3-day Mekong Delta Tour begins with a morning pickup from your Saigon hotel, leading you to either Can Tho or Cai Be where you’ll board your traditional wooden river cruise around midday. After a refreshing welcome drink and an introduction to the boat’s amenities and your comfortable cabin, the cruise sets sail as lunch is served. Relax and immerse yourself in the captivating landscapes and the everyday rhythms of life along the Mekong River.

During your 3-day Mekong Delta Tour, the afternoon offers a chance to leave the boat for a relaxed guided walk through a local village and its nearby fruit gardens or rice paddies. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with welcoming villagers and sample the region’s fresh produce and fruits.

Settle back onto the boat and savor a drink at the bar or unwind on deck as the sun dips below the horizon, painting the stunning water scenery of the Mekong River. Our cruise boat will anchor for the night, and your day concludes with a delightful dinner served on board. Your overnight stay will be on our comfortable floating hotel in the heart of the Mekong Delta during your 3-day Mekong Delta Tour.

Day 2: Life on the water and floating markets

Rise with the sounds of the Mekong River and prepare for another day of exploration on your 3-day Mekong Delta Tour. The cruise begins at 6:30 AM, offering a sunrise view as you enjoy an early breakfast and observe the daily activities of locals drying unique fruits and constructing boats in riverside workshops.

Experience the vibrant heart of the Mekong Delta on a 3-day Mekong Delta Tour, starting your day with a sampan boat trip to the bustling Cai Rang floating market. Be amazed by the sheer variety of colorful and exotic produce on offer as we navigate through the waterways, engaging with local vendors to learn about their goods and perhaps strike a bargain. Our journey will also include visits to local factories where traditional candies and cakes are made, or a scenic boat ride through the verdant waterways, offering glimpses of local life, lush orchards, and bustling ship-building areas.

During your 3-day Mekong Delta Tour, you’ll have the opportunity to glide along the waterways in a small rowing sampan, immersing yourself in the lush scenery of local homes, vibrant fruit orchards, and bustling ship-building areas. Alternatively, you can opt to explore the charming nearby town on foot or cycle along the smaller tributaries of the Mekong River.

The cruise boat then resumes its journey as lunch is served. In the afternoon there will be another side trip to one of the exotic villages along the way.

Day 3: An exotic world of its own

After breakfast and an early start through the glorious morning atmosphere on the Mekong river we will visit another floating market. Be sure not to miss the great photo opportunities for authentic snapshots of the Mekong people and their life.

Take another sampan side trip right into the lush rural landscape, the fertile fields, the exuberant green. Then it’s time to pack up and return to the pier from which we started.

The Mekong Delta cruise boat tour ends at around 11.00 — 11.30h on the pier. On even dates, you will have lunch at the Mekong Rest Stop. On odd dates, lunch is served in Vinh Long City.
