Itineraries

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival – City tour

Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and then transfer to a hotel for check in and relax.

Afternoon is a city tour. Tour  includes the War MuseumReunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. It was towards this modern building that North Vietnamese tanks seized on the morning of April 30 1975, as Saigon fell. This fascinating building is filled with history still fresh in the minds of many.

Continue to the Old Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral. The last stop is Ben Thanh – the central market for the city and one of its liveliest and most colorful areas.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels 

Our guide and driver will meet you after your fight and then transfer to a hotel. Check in and take a short break.

In the afternoon, depart to Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250 km. From Saigon to the Cambodian border was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trapdoors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S. – Vietnam American must have been like.

Transfer back to Saigon. Free at your leisure.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta

Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive around 2 hours to a local village by the Mekong River. We will stop on the way for refreshments and the toilet. Upon arrival, we board a motor-boat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful views of the Mekong River. In your visits to some local cottage industries you can see a coconut candy workshop, try some snake wine, learn how to make pop-rice, or witness the process of making rice paper. We move to one of the islands, where we visit a tropical fruit garden, listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and slowly enjoy getting in touch with local life by taking a hand-rowing sampan. Lunch is served at a riverside restaurant with 5-course Vietnamese food. Drive to Can Tho, the capital city of Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, we check in to a rustic homestay. Take a rest and enjoy a peaceful time within the authentic village. Tonight, you will join a cooking class guided by your local host and enjoy your wonderful dinner. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 4: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh

Get up early; then have breakfast before taking a motor-boat along the river to Cai Rang floating market, the largest of its kind, where colorful boats carrying juicy fruits and vegetables gather for daily exchanging. We continue the cruise and walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the residents as they go about their daily routines. Visit a flea market, a noodle factory, and tropical fruit gardens like papaya, mango, pineapple… Spending a short time cycling around the village will give you a fantastic way to experience local life. We say goodbye to your host and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant on the way. Drop-off at your hotel and overnight in Sai Gon.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Da Lat

Free time for you and then check out and transfer to the airport for a flight to Da Lat.

Day 6: Da Lat

Free at your leisure or you can choose some optional tour as below:

Lang Biang Mountain by jeep car: Visit Lang Biang Mountain by jeep car. Lang Biang consists of the two highest peaks of Lam Vien Highland: Lang Biang (2,167m) and 2,287m high Bidoup Ban, which is often regarded as the roof of Dalat. The mountain is famous for its spectacular nature, as well as its marvelous view of the whole wide area of Dalat City, the forest, the rivers and houses of tribal people.

Standing on the top of Lang Biang Mountain, tourists can see the Golden Stream and Silver Stream, or observe the fanciful Dalat, which looks like a lush green valley with two pieces of silver silk (the Golden and Silver Stream). Back to your hotel.

Da Lat Easy Rider: Leaving the romantic city, you will explore the beauty of the Dalat countryside.

  • Flower plantations – See the large display of colorful flowers on the local farm.

  • Cricket farm Experience the full chorus on approach to the local cricket farm and learn how crickets are raised. Afterwards try a taste of the fried cricket with lemongrass and chili sauce.
  • Rice wine distillery Visit a rice liquor distillery and learn about the process of wine making before sampling a cup of the produce.
  • Silk factory Learn about traditional silk producing methods and watch the skillful workers process the silk to make the scarves you can buy in the stores.
  • Elephant Waterfall and Pongour waterfall

Day 7: Da Lat Departure

Free at your leisure and then, check out the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight home.
