Vietnam Getaway Tour Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Beginning of Vietnam Getaway – Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City
Kickstart your Vietnam getaway with a seamless airport arrival in Saigon, where our team will greet you, expedite passport control, assist with luggage, and provide a comfortable transfer to your hotel.
Rest of day is free to settle into your new surroundings.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City
Breakfast in hotel.
Pick up at 08:30 AM – begins with the exploration of Ho Chi Minh City, including the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975, with stops to see the nearby iconic Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, fine examples of French architecture.
Then, continue on to Cu Chi Tunnels.
Experience a poignant exploration of the Cu Chi Tunnels during your Vietnam getaway. Your guide will illuminate the historical significance of this region, a crucial site during wartime, including its role in the 1968 Tet Offensive and the impact of American bombing raids, evident in the massive craters. Discover the ingenious, yet dangerous, “mantraps” designed to ensnare enemy soldiers, though rest assured, your path is safe. You’ll also encounter the remnants of an American tank, a stark reminder of the conflict, which offers a unique photo opportunity. While the Cu Chi experience can be emotionally impactful, it provides invaluable insight into the wartime hardships and resilience.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang
Pick up at 07:45 AM – your driver will meet and escort you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your flight to Da Nang.
Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Embark on your Vietnam getaway with a transfer to the enchanting Hoi An Old Quarter, a UNESCO-protected treasure trove of ancient streets and homes, where you’ll wander through its charming cobblestone paths and explore historic Chinese houses, including the iconic Japanese Bridge, a Chinese Temple, and the Phung Hung trading house, before enjoying a free evening and overnight stay.
Wrap up your Vietnam getaway tour by taking a restful break at Reaching Out Tea House – a special teashop where all the waiters and waitresses are deaf staff. Day 4: Da Nang
Breakast at hotel.
Pick up at 08:30 AM – Your local guide will greet you for your Vietnam getaway, whisking you up King Mountain, also known as Ba Na Hills. Enjoy the cooler, Alpine-like weather as you ascend via Southeast Asia’s highest cable car, soaking in the panoramic vistas. At the summit, discover the iconic Golden Bridge, a photographer’s dream. After capturing its beauty, we’ll stroll to the 27-meter-tall Linh Ung pagoda, one of three Buddhas protecting Danang. A gentle walk leads to stunning flower gardens for your leisurely exploration before a cable car descent back to your hotel.

Day 5: Da Nang – Hanoi
Pick up at 08:00 AM – your driver will escort you to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Hanoi.
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, after collecting your luggage, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver at the exit hall and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
After freshen up, at 1:30 PM – enjoy a jeep tour around Hanoi. Visit:
– Hoa Lo Museum, called the “Hanoi Hilton” by American pilots during Vietnam War.
– Vietnam Military History Museum – where clients can see documents from the Vietnam War, Indochina Wars, and thousands of years of war with China.
– Huu Tiep Pond in Ngoc Ha Village, where a part of a B-52 bomber that was shot down in 1972 is preserved.
On this Vietnam Getaway tour, you will pass by Hanoi’s crazily busy streets, which are always full of motorbikes, and pleasant tree lined streets dotted with small parks and yellow colonial-era villas.
Today, these one-time colonial villas house foreign embassies, a university, and various government buildings.
Return to the hotel, evening is at leisure.

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay, Hanoi
Pick up at 06:00 AM – your driver will meet and escort you to Ha Long Bay for a day cruise.
08:15 – 09:00 AM: Check in at Halong International Cruise Port, Bai Chay Ward, Halong City) and transfer to Luna Halong Cruise.
09:00 AM: The cruise depart, Clients enjoy light breakfast at the restaurant on the cruise and the adventure to discover Ha Long Bay begins.
10:30 – 11:30 AM: Visit Sung Sot Cave, a limestone stalactite cave ranked in the top 10 most beautiful caves in the world selected by the Czech Association of Travel Agents and Brokers.
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Visit Titop Island where you can immerse yourself in the turquoise water and climb to the top of the Island beholding the breathtaking panorama view of the bay.
12:30 – 1:30 PM: Enjoy a premium lunch at Luna Halong Cruise’s luxurious restaurant spaces with nearly 100 premium dishes of Asian and European cuisines.
1:45 – 2:45 PM: Optional visit Luon Cave – one of the most unique caves in Halong Bay, where you can experience sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by a local or Kayaking.
3:00 – 4:00 PM: Enjoy live music on the 4th-floor Sundeck.
4:30 PM: Disembarks to port. End of the tour.
