What is a Visa upon Arrival?
This is one of the simplest ways to obtain your visa without the need to visit embassies or consulates prior to your trip. It serves as a convenient alternative for applying for a tourist visa. The visa will be stamped directly onto your passport as you pass through the immigration checkpoint upon arrival. While the visa is valid for 30 days, it can be extended once you are in Vietnam. Please note that this type of visa is only applicable for entry by air.

Requirements:
– Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your entry date(s) into Vietnam and have blank pages for stamps.
– Prepare 2 recent 4*6 photos per person for the airport process.
Process:
– We will obtain an Approval Letter for you from the Vietnam Immigration Department in Hanoi.
– A copy of the Pre-approval Letter will be sent to you via email or fax. Copies of this document will also be forwarded to the immigration checkpoints at international airports in Vietnam. Upon arrival, immigration officers will have your documents ready, allowing for a smooth visa issuance process. Please present your 2 passport photos to the officers at this stage.

Some European citizen likes British, German, French, Italian, and Spanish… can enter Vietnam for up to 15 days without a visa. A visa is only required for stays exceeding 15 days or if you wish to re-enter Vietnam within 30 days of departure.
