Itinerary

08:00 AM: Guide and car pick up guests at hotel then transfer to Duong Lam ancient village about 50km away from Hanoi.
09:00 AM: Journey to Son Dong, a village celebrated for its traditional wood sculpture, and observe skilled artisans creating intricate statues for pagodas and communal spaces across Northern Vietnam. Stroll through the village, visit local workshops, and experience Vietnamese cultural traditions firsthand at Son Dong communal house, including insights into the cult of fecundity.
09:30 AM: Continue to drive to Duong Lam.
10:15 AM: Journey to Duong Lam and explore its historical vestiges, beginning with the village gate and Mong Phu communal house. Wander through ancient houses and sample local products, including rice wine and rice cake. Discover the village’s cultural heritage with visits to Princess Mia Palace and the tranquil Mia Pagoda. This tour offers a unique blend of history and local flavors.
12:30 PM: Enjoy a special Vietnamese lunch in an ancient house.
3:30 PM: Visit Thay Pagoda, or Master Pagoda, in Da Phuc and Thuy Khue villages, a key Hanoi tourist attraction. Explore its association with Monk Tu Dao Hanh, known for his contributions to local life, including water puppetry.
