- Road transfer from Ho Chi Minh City Centre to Ben Tre is 2-hour drive.
- Around 8:00 am, your Mekong Delta 3 Days adventure begins with a leisurely two-hour journey to Ben Tre. Located within the expansive Mekong River Delta, Ben Tre is renowned for its lush tropical fruit orchards and the intricate traditional crafts skillfully produced from coconuts. Upon reaching Ben Tre, you will embark on a local boat, providing your initial immersion into the unique rhythm of life in the Mekong Delta, as you navigate its fascinating network of intricate waterways.
- Embark on your immersive Mekong Delta 3 Days experience as you will cross the tranquil Cai Cam River, commencing your exploration with an insightful visit to a local coconut processing workshop. DAY 2 – TRA VINH – CAN THO
- While Tra Vinh Province is predominantly home to Khmer people, your Mekong Delta 3 Days exploration will reveal a vibrant mix of Vietnamese and Chinese communities, evident in the diverse architectural styles of the local temples. You’ll have the opportunity to visit Chinese, Khmer, and Vietnamese temples, gaining insight into their distinct practices and cultural nuances within the region.
- During your Mekong Delta 3 Days exploration, you’ll experience the unique cultural tapestry of the region with visits to a 700-year-old Khmer pagoda, a central place of worship for the local Khmer community, and a Chinese pagoda showcasing distinct architectural styles and intricate decorations.
- Embark on a cycling exploration through the rice paddies as part of your Mekong Delta 3 Days adventure, observing local farmers at work before reaching the historic Huynh Ky ancient house. This residence, showcasing a blend of colonial and Vietnamese architectural styles, was built in 1924 by Mr. Huynh Ky, who held the position of Head of Tra Vinh Province during the French colonial era.
- On the way back, you will cycle past local villages and observe their daily life. Stopping by a local wet market, you will be amazed by the huge array of fresh produces on offer and take some photos of the place. Then, you will head back to the homestay and rest before lunch. After lunch, it will be time to say goodbye to the family and travel to Can Tho.

DAY 3 – CAN THO – SAIGON
- Your Mekong Delta 3 Days adventure kicks off with an early exploration of the vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market. As you navigate the Mekong River, take in the traditional scenes of rice barges, boat-building workshops, and fruit drying along the shores. Following your visit to the bustling floating market, you’ll check out and begin your journey back towards Ho Chi Minh City.
